Danger Notes – A Concert Band Method Developed from the Perspective of the Student

Teach Music How Students Understand It

Do you have students who struggle with key signatures and scales? Have you explained it a thousand times and they just don’t get it? Have you ever had a clarinet player ask, “Why do I play a B when you call it the Bb Scale?” Danger Notes is a method to help your students understand technique while rehearsing in a full ensemble environment.

The Danger Notes Concert Band Method presents technical exercises to the student from their perspective.  This method was researched and written from questions and struggles students commonly experience.  Danger Notes provides methods for grades 6-12 and is flexible based on the needs of the ensemble.
